Law Asia’s Annual Conference.
Recently, Anthony Miller of our firm attended and spoke at Law Asia’s Annual Conference, this year held in Hong Kong.
Law Asia is a regional association of lawyers, judges, jurists and legal organisations which advocates for the interests and concerns of the Asia Pacific legal profession. The annual conference is a great opportunity to build networks with lawyers from other parts of the Asia Pacific Region.
Miller Sockhill Lawyers have a number of clients operating businesses, or parts of businesses, or contracting with businesses based in Asia. We find that it is an invaluable asset to have colleagues within these Asian jurisdictions whom we can call on for assistance when our clients are conducting business within their country.
At this conference Anthony participated in the Sports Law section where the panel discussed administrative, contractual and disciplinary issues currently facing those in the business of sport.
